In fact, UCF awarded the highest percentage (50%) of STEM doctoral degrees among all 11 SUS institutions. Costs for Grad II level of instruction are correlated to UCF’s high proportion of STEM discipline doctoral students. Direct Costs: UCF has the lowest instructional expenditures per student credit hour (SCH) at the undergraduate (lower and upper levels) and Grad I levels of instruction compared to all other SUS institutions based on the SUS Expenditure Analysis (see tables below).
